Option 1: VIP Sleeper Bus
Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening by VIP sleeper bus, enjoy comfort and privacy. Arrive in Ha Giang early morning and rest at our local hotel before starting your motorbike adventure.
Option 2: Daytime Limousine Bus + Thon Tha Village Experience (+1 extra day)
Take the daytime limousine bus and arrive in Ha Giang around early afternoon. After lunch, visit Thon Tha village to explore peaceful scenery, traditional stilt houses, and experience the daily life and culture of the Tay ethnic people before starting your tour the next morning.
Start your loop journey with your local guide or Easy Rider. Ride through Bac Sum Pass to enjoy the first mountain views. Continue to Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, where you can relax with a coffee while admiring the mountain scenery.
Stop at Twin Mountains viewpoint for a short walk and photo opportunity. After lunch in Quan Ba, visit small ethnic villages including Lung Tam weaving village, where local Hmong women create beautiful handmade textiles.
Ride through Can Ty Pass, stop for photos at Lonely Tree and Van Chai Rock Wall. At Yen Minh Peak, enjoy the view of beautiful terraced rice fields.
Continue to Tham Ma Pass and Nine Turns Pass, two iconic roads of the UNESCO Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. Then visit the beautiful Sung La Valley and explore old Hmong villages.
Next, visit the Hmong King’s Palace (Vuong Family Palace) to learn about Hmong history and unique cultural architecture influenced by Hmong, French, and Chinese styles.
End your day in Dong Van Old Quarter. Enjoy local street food, join the evening market activities, and experience local dancing and singing at the town square.
If your visit falls on the weekend, don’t miss the Dong Van ethnic market — a colorful gathering where ethnic minorities trade local produce and livestock.
Continue your journey with scenic rides through Ma Pi Leng Pass and admire the breathtaking view of Nho Que River from the top. Stop at Ma Pi Leng viewpoint, Skywalk, and the famous Death Cliff for amazing photos.
Ride through “M Turn” and follow the Happiness Road. Pass by beautiful terraced fields in Mau Due and enjoy more mountain scenery.
After lunch, continue through Xa Ly Pass, the old French fort, and winding roads with endless valleys like Duong Thuong. Before ending the trip, stop at Thai An Waterfall and enjoy coffee while admiring the small Tu San Canyon in Cat Ly.
Return to Ha Giang City and finish your unforgettable Ha Giang Loop adventure.

Yes, you can. However, you must have a valid international motorbike license, and we will assess your riding skills beforehand to ensure safety. The roads in Ha Giang can be quite challenging and dangerous.
No, a valid international motorbike license is required to ride in Ha Giang. Police checks are common due to rising accidents involving unlicensed tourists. Riding without a license may also void your insurance.
You’ll need an international motorbike license to ride legally in Vietnam. If you only have a national license, you may be able to convert or translate it into an international one before your trip.
Some countries allow riding 50cc bikes with a car license—these don’t require a license in Vietnam. Just make sure to check your country’s rules and prepare in advance.
