Join us for an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night motorbike adventure through Ha Giang, where you’ll explore Northern Vietnam’s most beautiful mountains, valleys, and local villages. This tour is perfect for those who want to experience authentic local life, stunning landscapes, and flexible travel at their own pace.
You’ll visit famous highlights along the loop, including Heaven’s Gate, the Stone Plateau, Fairy Hills, Dong Van Old Town, Ma Pi Leng Pass, and hidden mountain routes inside Ha Giang. Depending on your interests, riding skill, and the season, your local guide will customize the route to make sure you enjoy the best scenery and cultural experiences.
During the journey, you’ll have plenty of time to stop for photos, visit minority villages, and explore places like Lung Khuy Cave and the Lung Tam weaving village, where local H’mong women create beautiful handmade fabrics.
You can choose to ride by yourself or sit behind our experienced Easy Rider guide. If you decide to self-drive, we recommend having motorbike experience as Ha Giang’s mountain roads can be challenging.

The full loop covers around 350 km in 3 days, with several hours of riding each day. Please bring comfortable clothes, good shoes, and light gear for changing weather.
Helmets are required at all times. Always follow your guide’s instructions for safety.
Accommodations are basic but clean, with hot water, warm blankets, and simple amenities.

Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening by VIP sleeper bus for a comfortable and private ride. Arrive in Ha Giang early morning and rest at our local hotel before starting your motorbike adventure.
Option 2: Daytime Limousine Bus + Thon Tha Village Experience (+1 extra day)
Take a scenic daytime limousine bus to Ha Giang, arriving in early afternoon. After lunch, visit Thon Tha village to explore peaceful rice fields, stilt houses, and experience the daily life of Tay ethnic people. Relax and breathe in the fresh mountain air before starting your motorbike journey the next morning.
Start your Ha Giang Loop adventure with your local guide or Easy Rider. The journey begins with Bac Sum Pass, offering your first breathtaking mountain views.
Next, continue to Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate for coffee with panoramic views. On the way down, stop at Twin Mountains viewpoint for great photos.
After lunch in Quan Ba, visit Lung Tam weaving village where local H’mong women create beautiful hand-woven textiles.
Continue the scenic ride through Duong Thuong and Lung Ho valleys towards Du Già. Explore peaceful rice fields, Tay stilt houses, and enjoy the peaceful countryside life.
The last stop is Du Già waterfall, where you can relax and swim in the cool natural water after a day of riding. In the evening, enjoy a local dinner at the homestay with Tay ethnic food and taste “Happy Water” — the local corn wine.
Today’s journey continues through beautiful landscapes with endless mountain views and terraced rice fields around Mau Due.
Ride through the famous M-shaped Curve and Happiness Road.
Take a peaceful boat trip on Nho Que River to admire Tu San Canyon — Southeast Asia's deepest canyon.
After that, explore the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass, stop at Ma Pi Leng Skywalk, Death Cliff, and the Dinosaur Spine for breathtaking views and photo opportunities.
Arrive in Dong Van Old Town in the evening. Enjoy local street food, walk around the night market, and join traditional dancing and singing at the town square with locals.
If your visit falls on the weekend, don’t miss Dong Van Market — where colorful ethnic minorities gather to trade local produce and livestock.
Next, visit the H’mong King’s Palace (Vuong Family Mansion) to learn about H’mong culture and see unique architecture blending H’mong, French, and Chinese styles.
